Hangover Fighting Smoothie

So you’ve gone and done it again… just going to have one you say, I’ll be home as soon as I finish this one you say.  But you didn’t and now you’re here… hurting.  Hey, it happens to the best of us.  In fact, fake studies have shown that many hangovers are a direct result of those last 12 beers.

Alcohol is an amazing diuretic, which is why you spend so much time in the bathroom flushing out all of that precious water that your body so badly needs.  Not to mention the fact that you probably aren’t chasing those drinks with more water.  This can lead to dehydration which may explain the pounding headache that you are feeling.

This hangover fighting smoothie has coconut water and a banana to help hydrate, Greek yogurt to help out with digestion,  kale to aid in the detox process and antioxidant packed blueberries to help with… well whatever antioxidants help with… look I’m no doctor.  Now I know that you are “NEVER going to do this to again” (**inserts creepy wink**) but just in case you find yourself on the wrong side of Monday morning, give this smoothie a whirl.
